How do I check what my child is doing on the computer? Have the computer in a living room/family space- not in a bedroom. Install adult content filters such as Filtergate (Free) Net Nanny ($40) Cyber Sitter ($40) - Best of the bunch. Nothing beats talking to your children about what they do on the net and watching what they view or do there!! |
Safety School Policy is to make Internet use safe for pupils, to teach them to avoid actions which could endanger them and to prevent access to unsuitable material It is very important that parents are aware of this policy and the school would urge parents to implement the same policy at home The use of programs such as Cyber Sitter or Net Nanny will prevent your children from accessing unsuitable material on the Internet A list of Parental Control programs is available on the Links page. We are currently developing a comprehensive Internet Use Policy which will be published on site as soon as it is completed. ALWAYS SUPERVISE YOUR CHILDREN WHEN
THEY ARE USING THE INTERNET - USE AN INTERNET SECURITY SETTINGS PASSWORD
TO PREVENT UNAUTHORISED ACCESS! Parents will find lots of information on safe surfing HERE at the Yahooligans Site This site is rated:
