We need your help!

If you have any old articles, photo's, tapes, old 18mm film, newspaper articles, memoirs or mementos of either your own or your ancestors' times at Moneydarragh we would like to hear from you.

We would like to copy any old photos, tapes or films in particular and will return them immediately to you.

Please - have a quick look in your attic!

There are lots of old photographs available but unfortunately we do not have dates, places or names - perhaps you can identify some of these and let us know, so that we can include this information next time!

Centenary Book

The centenary book covers the history of the school from the early 1800's prior to the erection of the first schoolhouse in the 1820's.
There are examples of old attendance records and photographs which will make very interesting reading for anyone whose ancestors attended Moneydarragh.

The Book is priced at £10 sterling and is well worth it!

You may view the Centenary Book online.

It is organised as a photo-gallery with 150 pages consecutively numbered from the beginning. You may navigate using the arrows on each page, left for previous page, right for next page and vertical for Contents page

You may save each of the pages by going to File - Save As and saving each page to your own computer.

Are you in any of the 1960's School videos?

Mrs Eithne Regan, a former teacher at Moneydarragh, has kindly agreed to donate some old 8mm film clips to the website. These have been converted to DVD format.

These video clips show school scenes from the late 1960s but due to space restrictions these can no longer be made available online. Copies may be obtained by contacting the school.

Have you, or your older relatives, got any old film, tapes, photo's about the school or school events? If you would lend them to us we will copy and return the originals to you.
