FRIENDS OF MONEYDARRAGH PS
TABLE QUIZ – FRIDAY 4th June

Longstone GAC Hall at 9pm

Dear Parents/Carers
As most of you will have noticed, a great amount of work has already been done to lay the foundations of a brand new playground for our children! This means a major fundraising drive needs to get under way so the Friends of Moneydarragh are organising a table quiz to be held on Friday 4th June in the Longstone GAC Hall at 9pm. The proceeds of this event will go into the Moneydarragh PS Playground Development Fund.

The quiz has always proven to be a great night’s craic and will include a light supper and a raffle for a hamper. We would love to see you there so please find enclosed 2 tickets for the quiz - Admission £3.00. If you are unable to attend on the night please show your support by buying the tickets. All money for tickets should be returned to the school in an envelope with your child’s/children’s name on it on or before Wednesday 2nd June .
Anyone wishing to donate a prize for the quiz is also asked to leave it into the school on or before Wednesday 2nd June.

There will be a Raffle for a Hamper on the night of the quiz. To enter, you need to put your name on a square on the Hamper Raffle Boards. Each square costs a £1 and you can buy these either in the school or on the night. Each child is being asked to bring in an item of food for the hamper. The item request for your child is detailed on the envelope of this letter. Please ensure items for the hamper are brought in to school on or before Wednesday 2nd June.

Also, it would be much appreciated if parents/carers could provide sandwiches or buns for the quiz. These can be left into the school on the day of the quiz or brought along on the night.

Thanks to all in advance, for your co-operation, support and generosity which, as always, is very much appreciated. All funds raised will greatly benefit the pupils of Moneydarragh.

Sincerely,
Friends of Moneydarragh Committee
