Rare Bird Spotted
The Waxwing. The waxwing is a rare visitor to Ireland with only one other sighting this year - near Belfast.
Children from P5, P6 and P7 were lucky to spot five of these birds in the adjacent garden while birdspotting with
Jen Banks from the RSPB and Mr Seamus Rooney - Science Teacher last week.
They were able to get some photo's of these birds - see below:
